Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene is a comic thriller featuring Zayed Khan, Rannvijay Singh and Tena Desae in the lead roles. The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Devinder Jain and Akhilesh Jain. The concept is given by Anand Kumar and Rajesh Chawla, however, the dialogues are written by Rajesh Chawla and Vivek Chaudhary.

 

The film captures the real essence of human mentally and carries a self explanatory title. The underlying plot of the film deals with the problems of middle and lower middle class. Today’s world is full of greedy and selfish people who run after money. Rich are the ones who live a luxurious life while others are constantly whipped to earn money and a decent living. Honesty is the best policy, but at times it's not the best option. One has to bend rules when opportunity demands it, for getting ahead in life. Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene also narrates a similar story.

 

The film is a satirical comedy and received mixed reviews from audiences. Prithvi Khurana ( Zayed Khan) is a middle class working professional who one day discovers that his bank account is credited with 100 crores! Shocked with the news, he calls up bank's customer care to confirm his account details. He receives a call from ' Dawood' who wants Prithvi to deliver the money to his lady, Rashida (Talia Benston). The movie further talks about how Prithvi and his roommate Sam fall into trouble while trying to retrieve the whooping amount. Prithvi's girlfriend Megha (Tena Desae) gets abducted and is later found unconscious in his car. D.K. Thawani (Anupam Kher) plays the role of Vice President of the bank. With the telecast of breaking news about Dawood's sudden death and Sam's confession that Dawood's call were faked by Rachel so that he could get money from Prithvi. Sam tells that he had won this money in an online lottery. But soon Sam discovers that the lottery site is fake, and both D.K. Thawani and Rachel are trying to kill him. The money actually belongs to business tycoon Ram Sharan. Both are interrogated by RBI and Police. With a plan to abduct Rachel, they make a fake call to Thawani as Oberoi and later record Thawani's confession in a camera. Oberoi too gets arrested. The film ends with Prithvi getting a prize money of 2 crores from Indian government and a phone call from real Dawood.
