Contrasting sneakers with garish, loud Punjabi kurtas is Juuliet Shukla (Pia Bajpai) a feisty girl in Mirzapur, UP who bullies anything that moves — from the local bus conductor to her childhood friend Mirza (Darshan Kumar). She throws her weight around town as she is the darling sister of Dharamraj (Priyanshui Chatterjee), a powerful local goon who wants to marry her off to the son of another powerful politician, the very randy Rajan Pandey (Chandan Roy Sanyal), who is a lustful young boy and is disturbingly fond of phone sex. Mirza (Darshan Kumar), on the other hand, is a hitman; a total opposite to Juuliet’s brash personality —calm, composed and the best shot in town. Mirza goes through a troubled childhood as he kills the murderer of her mother and is sent to the juvenile cell. He then was raised by his relatives. The small town of Mirzapur plays host to Mirza and Juuliet's "association". For most parts it's just that. Pia Bajpai pitched in an unbearably shrill territory announces she is named after “Saxpear’s” Juliet. After realizing that Mirza is her childhood friend, she decides to go on long bike rides with him. All set to marry the annoying son of a local politician, a match chosen by her brothers, she manages to be as schizophrenic as possible. Docile and obedient to her bullying brothers and mouthing gaalis and throwing chappals as she steps out. Also, she is a Hindi film quintessential ingenue who knows nothing about love making but must ask her childhood friend about it. Mirza secretly admires Julie but never confesses about it. Julie tries to discuss her fiancé’s antics with her friend, but the two eventually end up getting involved despite their religious differences. Later, when Julie is raped by her fiancé and her family tries to hush up the entire episode with crude chauvinistic explanations, in the series of events Julie realises her love for Mirza and the two elope with the latter’s brothers hot in pursuit. The two reach Nepal followed by Dharam Raj and Rajan. What follows is mass bloodshed and the couple roaming the streets of Nepal with guns in hand as if it was a live battlefield.
