‘Loveshhuda’ starts on a very clichéd commercialized frame with intimate scenes that make it an obvious love-story. According to Vaibhav Misra, this film is eccentric to Bollywood Rom Com, even the plot leaves you swearing at them. ‘Loveshhuda’, assuming it to rhyme with ‘Shadhidhhuda’, will make you cry for such a boring storyline that is not even funny. The script that is inspired by the Hollywood franchise ‘Hangover’ and the Hindi franchise ‘Pyar Ka Punchnama’, disappoints to a great deal. The movie is based on booze more than love. So if you are watching or going to watch this flick, you must gear up for a complete death of love-story, murdered by poor storyline and plot.

“Loveshuda” has all the cliches of a romance-comedy, but what makes it interesting is its treatment. The romance that stretches a little over four years commences before a bachelor’s party and concludes after a bachelorette party. Writer-director Vaibhav Misra’s story has scenes and themes lifted from various Hollywood and Hindi films. The first half of the film is intense with the night long odyssey of Gaurav revealed in great detail, as it forms the foundation of the love story. The screenplay is interestingly layered. And, the second half of the film starts off on a disappointing note. It only deteriorates with predictable cliches with every passing moment. The characters are half-baked and the plot is far-fetched as it relies heavily on destiny. At the end, “Loveshudda”, which begins with a promise, finishes off on a rather flat note.

Vaibhav Misra sets out to tell you, what according to him, is an unconventional Bollywood story. Honestly the premise is such a farce and seems so forced that even the so called bold plot leaves you cold. The script that is inspired by the Hollywood franchise Hang Over and the Hindi franchise Pyar Ka Punchnama comes unstuck. Also for a romantic film to go boom, there should be real passion between its lead players. Individually the boy and the girl aren't too bad but where is the chemistry between you, guys? You cannot ignite a spark here, leave alone a flame.
