‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story’ hinges on a plot that's slimmer than a chip and encompasses everything it has to offer in the first hour itself. But, as luck would have it, it runs out of fuel in the post-interval portions. The romantic scenes of the film could've done with more heart. To cut a long story short, the second hour lacks the simple charm that was evident in the first half. The only thing that maintains consistency throughout is heroine Neha Sharma's quest to get a job and make a career for herself. Clearly, the clever writing and genuine humour is missing here! On the whole, ‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story’ has enjoyable moments, but they are limited to the first hour! The movie can be given a miss as it ties not only the audience but also the actors of the film in a tight knot of which neither the plot nor performances, help to break out of!
