Tum Bin 2 is a fresh take on love and friendship

Tum Bin 2, directed by Anubhav Sinha, features Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati in the lead roles. Tum Bin 2, a romantic flick is a fresh take on love and friendship and is a sequel to the 2001 film Tum Bin. The movie is an emotional and sentimental story, set in motion with the title track playing in background. The cinematography handled by Ewan Mulligan has been portrayed in a beautiful way. Neha Sharma plays the role of a depressed woman and is consoled by Sandali Sinha who makes an unexpected cameo in the movie. Sandali’s cameo is a twist in the movie that raises your hopes from the film.

Tum Bin 2 has an emotionally entertaining first half and the performances by all the actors are very impressive. The movie despite of the repetitive subject as the earlier one is a decent watch. The story of the film is awesomely portrayed and the sadness and sentiments are shown without any hurry. The sentiments showcased in the movie Tum Bin 2 are a hearty welcome retreat to the past one and Neha Sharma has done complete justice to her character. Neha Sharma looks amazingly beautiful and she can make a mark in Bollywood with this kind of performance.

The music gets all the brownie points from our side. All the good songs of the movie are shown in the first part and the second part will make you wonder about its content. Tum Bin 2 has a good production value, delightful music and beautiful screenplay, which adds to the attractions of the film on the technical front. The direction is neatly done. On the whole, Tum Bin 2 is a decent and must watch.

Bollypedia Ratings - 2/ 5 stars

  • In Bollywood, there was a time, when supporting actors did not receive the appreciation they do now. They were looked at as mere pawns to make the lead look good. But times have changed, and talented artists have taken these so called side roles, and evolved them into the backbone of the films. They are now taking the limelight, and sometimes even overshadow the leads.
  • Unlike popular belief, there have been a large number of celebrities who broke the ‘Career is finished after marriage’ taboo and came out shining like true stars only after they got married. Some turned out to be the major superstars of the country, whereas some struggled to leave an impact on the industry, but the one thing that all of them have in common is that they were married before they set their foot on the silver screen.
