Weekend Gross - Naam Shabana has a respectable box office collection!

 

Ever since the first trailer of Naam Shabana came online, the viewers are excited to watch Taapsee Pannu in a completely new avatar. The movie showcases Taapsee Pannu’s character Shabana Khan’s story before the movie ‘Baby’. It’s a prequel to Baby which featured Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu and Anupam Kher.

Naam Shabana released this Friday, and the audience loved the bold woman Shabana Khan, who fought for the national security. The box office opening was decent, and it rose higher on Saturday and Sunday. Also, as per the viewers, they pretty much loved Akshay’s role in the film as an extended cameo. Especially, his flawless acting in the second half of the film!

The box office collection currently stands at 18.99 Crore. Have a look at the day-wise box office break-up of Naam Shabana:

Day 1: Friday (March 31): Rs 5.12 crore

Day 2: Saturday (April 1): Rs 6.37 crore

Day 3: Sunday (April 2): Rs 7.5 crore

Total Box Office earnings: Rs. 18.99 crore

Let’s wait and watch how much money does Naam Shabana mints on the first weekday. Directed by Shivam Nair, Naam Shabana is an action-packed film which sings loudly about the woman emancipation, and how she fought against all odds to get herself amongst the top RAW agents in India.
