Bollywood actor Salman Khan left Kashmir today as he wrapped up with his shooting of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan.’ A major part of the movie was shot in various parts of Kashmir. The movie was shot at diverse striking locations including the famous resorts of Pahalgam and Sonamarg. A qawali song of the movie also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan was shot at a famous shrine in Ashmuqam area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
“He was so relaxed, happy and enjoyed his stay. He was in no mood to leave,” said the producer of the film, Khawar Jamsheed. “He went up to everyone – his unit members, security personnel and drivers and thanked them all. He is in love with the Valley and it is 100 per cent in his heart that he wants to be here again very soon,” he added.
Earlier Salman tweeted a picture of snow-clad mountain and wrote:
“Flood Kashmir with only tourism tourism tourism,”
He also tweeted:
“KASHMIR bahut AMEER (rich) in natural beauty… Maashallah Maashallah,”
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is set to release on 17 July 2015.
