Salman Khan is taking over Race 3 and completely destroying the brand

Salman Khan is a superstar, or more correctly, was a superstar. While, we still love him in Bigg Boss, taking the contestants’ case, it’s really not fun watching him on the big screen now. He is so set in his own ways, that, he carries the same character in all his movies, despite the storyline. However, Race 3 was a big relief for moviegoers, as it promised Salman in a tad bit different role.

The movie was supposed to show Salman in a grey role, and it was being said, that was what drew the superstar to the character. The Race franchise works on grey characters, and that’s pretty much the USP of the movie. It is also not a family film, as it is focused more on the thrill, than the kids being able to understand the plotting that goes on.

But, our beloved Bhaijaan has hijacked the project. Remo D'Souza is going to be directing this high octane action thriller. The movie is expected to be full of thrills and scheming, that has made Race a success twice before. Though it looks like, that is not going to happen anymore. Salman, a few days ago, had told the makers of the film that he wanted the movie to have no intimate scenes. He said, he wanted to make a clean family film, that did not make it awkward for whole families to watch the movie together.

Now, it is being said, that in a movie where there is only the anti-hero, Salman wants to play the hero. He has strictly said no to doing the grey role and wants a goody two shoe image.

Let’s see if he destroys this one just like he did Tubelight.
