Ever since there were updates about Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s on-screen pairing in ‘Raabta’, the fans have gone ga-ga over them and now that the trailer has surfaced, it has already become the next big thing in Bollywood. The duo has stormed the media with their sizzling chemistry and new looks. The trailer is intriguing and has lots of powerful shots which stunned the audience at once.

But, did you look at the trailer properly.., I mean till the end..? Did you see an old mysterious man at the end of it?

Well, this unbelievable makeover is donned by the National Film Award winner, Rajkummar Rao! The “Trapped” actor along with ‘Raabta’ director Dinesh Vijan sat together and did 16 look tests before finalising on this one. About this role, Dinesh was glad that Rajkummar accepted it gracefully. Dinesh says, “Rajkummar was kind enough to do me a favour. It was tedious but, he patiently sat through it every day. I think, the idea of the prosthetics making him completely unrecognisable excited him as an actor.”

Actually, this is amazing…, isn’t it? He looks so fitting to the character of a 324-year-old mysterious man in Raabta. Not only the look, but Rao’s voice and posture were modulated and a special team from Los Angeles came to the Raabta sets to etch Rajkummar’s look in such a way. Great job, guys! Rajkummar himself was thrilled with his new stylised look, and said, “It was so much fun as an actor. Dinoo (Dinesh) has a very clear vision as a director and he gave me a lot of freedom as an actor to explore. The prosthetics used to take almost five to six hours every day and then I would start sweating inside all that make-up. It needed quite a bit of patience.”

And just like that, we got one more big reason to watch Raabta, which is Rajkummar Rao’s superb makeover. The movie is slated to release on 9th June and stars Kriti Sanon, Sushant Singh Rajput and Jim Sarbh. Are you excited for the film? Share your views with us in the comments section below.
