It is raining cash for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo production team, as the movie continues to bring audiences, from all around the globe, in theatres. It has been exactly a week since the film’s first screening, but the magic it bestowed on audiences still seems to linger. Reports had earlier suggested that PRDP’s box-office collection after 4 days of releasing was calculated at Rs 129.77 crores, India Nett. But the recent tallying by cinema and box-office experts has determined that PRDP now stands at a mammoth 150* not out Innings. Yes! You heard it right. After an entire week, PRDP has managed to uplift its collection to a colossal amount of Rs 155.36 crores India Nett.

Even before its scheduled screening, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had created such huge anticipation that almost 60%—70% tickets of its first 3-day’s shows were already sold out, all across nation. Post release, although it was welcomed by viewers with mix responses, PRDP had already been added to the list of all-time blockbusters of Bollywood. Primary reason for this massive acknowledgment was the presence of Salman Khan as the film’s protagonist. Cherry-on-cake was added by the fact that Bhaijaan was seen in PRDP in a unique twin avatar. Where just one character of Sallu Bhai can raise a movie’s figures to the pinnacle, one can imagine what the actor is capable of in a dual role.
