Leaked – Plot of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Shuddhi revealed

The much hyped upcoming movie Shuddhi starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, produced by Karan Johar is reportedly based on the lines of a reincarnation plot. Contrary to popular reports, Shudhi is not based on the hugely successful Shiva trilogy by famous writer Amish Tripathi. The movie will have the classic recipe of undying love, re-birth and finding their soul mates again, and of course it will have the added masala of revenge!

Shuddhi is expected to join the likes of Karz, Kudrat, Karan-Arjun and Om Shanti Om, all of which were hugely successful because one simply can’t go wrong with the combination of reincarnation and eternal love. Varun and Alia will recreate the magic of their on screen romance from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. The couple were rumoured to be dating and then there were reports of them splitting up, whatever the case is, the two definitely set the screens on fire with their chemistry.

Varun’s recent image change from Chocolate boy to an intense actor definitely raises our hopes and we will see some vengeful revenge in the movie. Salman Khan was the first choice for Shudhi but ultimately Varun was chosen to replace Salman. Salman Khan had even wished Varun, all the best for Shuddhi.

Initially, rumours were abuzz that Shuddhi is an adaption of the very popular Shiva trilogy written by Amish. Even though Karan Malhotra (director of Shuddhi) himself clarified that it wasn’t the case, the rumours still survived.  Now finally the writer himself has spoken up and clarified that even though Karan Johar has the rights to his books, it was a separate project. Here’s what Amish had to say –

“Shuddhi has absolutely nothing to do with my book. It’s an independent story. The director of the film Karan (Malhotra) clarified this earlier and I am clarifying it once again. The rights to my books belong solely to Karan Johar’s production company and they are making an adaptation out of it. There’s no way anyone else can use it”

Well all we can say is that with the sort of hype Shuddhi has created even before going into production; it will surely be a hit. We simply can’t wait!
