Pamela Chopra is extremely excited to welcome her first grandchild

Aditya Chopra’s mother and late Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra is unable to hide her excitement to welcome her first grandchild home. She is quite elated as she shares that there will be a baby in the Chopra family after a long wait of 42 years.

The unimaginably happy mother in law says that even words would not be enough to describe how she is feeling about the news of her son Adi and Rani Mukerji’s first baby. She says, ‘It’s difficult to describe the feeling. To say that I am ecstatic or thrilled would be downplaying my emotions… I have been dying to become a grandmother for years now and Adi was just not obliging me.’

The granny-to-be reveals that she had been waiting for this day from many years and when Adi, her son disclosed to her that ‘Rani is pregnant’ she almost screamed out in joy as she tells, ‘Even now when I think about my grandchild, I feel my heart skip a beat and that fluttery feeling in my stomach. My heart is so full of joy!’

Further, on being asked about the preparations from her side to welcome her first grandchild, she simply says, ‘Adi and Rani don’t live in my home, so no. But I would rather let Rani do everything herself’. However, she would definitely help Rani with her advices whenever required.

Pamela declares that it doesn’t matter to her whether her grandchild is a boy or a girl and there would be no discrimination from her end regarding this. Be it a boy or a girl she plans to shower her love equally on the newly born.

We congratulate Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji once again for the good news and we can feel the happiness in the granny’s voice already as she is decked up to welcome her first grandchild home…..
