Garam Dharam

Bollywood’s most respected actor, Dharmendra has opened two outlets in Delhi itself by the funky name of ‘Garam Dharam- dhaba te theka’. This title was given to him during the peak of his career. The restaurants are situated in Connaught Place outer circle and Rajouri Garden; and are opening shortly in Murthal too. The inside look is just like a Punjabi dhaba and it offers amazing mouth-watering ‘Desi’ cuisines which will make you remember ghar-ka-khaana. Must eat: Dal Makhani, Kadhai chicken, Soya chaap, mocktails (served in a special jar) and desi liquor.

Hero No. 1

Superstar, Govinda launched his own restaurant recently in Rajouri Garden called as ‘Hero No. 1’ which was also the title of his super hit film in 1991. While opening gates for his restaurant he said, “I have a special connect with the capital and liking for its people and culture. My friends always suggested me that Delhi needs a place that is No.1 and blends right music, right food and right ambience. So, Hero No.1 had to be here.” It is a fine dining restaurant which will give you a feel of being with the man himself.

Lap, The Lounge

Bollywood’s heartthrob, Arjun Rampal opened this classy lounge in Hotel Samrat, Chanakyapuri back in the year 2009 and it is still one of the most upbeat lounges and discotheques in South Delhi. Its interiors are quite modern and luxurious, which definitely is befitting its handsome owner’s personality. Veda is an eye-catching and a magnificent restaurant owned by India’s foremost fashion designer, Rohit Bal. The restaurant is located at the Connaught Circus and invites a classy crowd as well as the party lovers. Hype

Located at Sector 10, Dwarka, Hype is owned by the famous DJ Aqeel and it’s one of the glitziest clubs you can find in Delhi. The disco lights surrounded interiors and amazing music will keep your feet on the floor automatically and thus, it attracts a lot of young crowd. Although, music is Hype’s best feature, but it also offers good varieties of snacks.
