M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story scores BIG at box office

The biopic on M.S. Dhoni released last Friday and it seems Dhoni’s infectious match-winning attitude has translated on the big screen as well. The movie became the second highest opener of 2016 after Sultan, with a total collection of Rs 60 cr in India.

On Friday, after a huge opening Sushant Singh Rajput starrer M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story managed to remain super strong on its 2nd day as well. The film collected 20.60 cr on Saturday and the positive response helped the movie show a big leap on Sunday as well.

The first week collections of the movie (in India) are as follows:

Friday - Rs 21.30 cr

Saturday - Rs 20.60 cr

Sunday - Rs 24.10 cr

Total – Rs 60 cr

M.S. Dhoni is one of the most loved Indian cricketers and this could also be one the reason other than Sushant’s terrific performance, that the film could be seen making huge box office records in coming days.
