Irrfan Khan wanted to become a cricketer
Surprisingly, Irrfan’s passion wasn’t acting; it was in playing cricket. Irrfan’s parents refused it, and lucky enough, he got his first scholarship from the National School of Drama (NSD) and he joined theatre. At NSD, he lied about having past theatre experience. Good that, universities used to provide many scholarships in those days.
Irrfan Khan decided to quit acting after the year 2000
