Dear Zindagi surpasses English Vinglish’s lifetime collection in just 5 days

 

Directed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi stars Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. The movie not only succeeded to impress the critics, but has also shown its magic at the box office too. The film was promoted heavily; Alia and Shahrukh were seen making appearances at many places, shows and events.

All of us had high expectations from the film, and standing true to our expectations SRK and Alia were able to deliver their magic on the big screen effortlessly. The film started strong at the box office and has surpassed the lifetime collections of Baar Baar Dekho in 3 days and the collections of English Vinglish in 5 days.

Dear Zindagi collected up to a total of Rs. 40.75 cr on the first five days of its release. The day wise box-office collection of the movie is below:

Friday – Rs. 8.75 cr

Saturday – Rs. 11.25 cr

Sunday – Rs. 12.50 cr

Monday – Rs. 4.25 cr

Tuesday – Rs. 4.00 cr

Total – Rs. 40.75 cr

Dear Zindagi starring Alia Bhatt and Shahrukh Khan is now all set to become the next super hit movie. Also, there are expectations that ‘Dear Zindagi’ will be the 8th movie of 2016 to enter the 100 cr club after ‘Shivaay’.
