Star Studded! Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2016

Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2016 held on 15th October 2016 was a star studded event. From actresses making stunning style statement in designer outfits to actors in their fashionable best, it was a night of Bollywood glitterati. Amongst the galaxy of stars walking the red carpet, here’s the list of the best-dressed celebs and winners at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2016.

B-town stars that graced the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards were Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Rekha, Neha Dhupia, Saiyami Kher, Bipasha Basu, Kajol, Disha Patani, Amy Jackson, Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Sushant Singh Rajput, Tiger Shroff and Harshvardhan Kapoor to name a few.

Besides blacks and whites, stars opted to go all out with colours. From Rekha’s golden beige sari, Katrina’s pink gown to Alia’s metallic dress, the night was amped up with style quotient.

At the award function, Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra were named the global icons of the year, while Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director Karan Johar was named the most glamorous director. The award list included newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher and the Mirzya actors were honoured with fashion debut and emerging faces of fashion, respectively.

Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman were honoured with timeless glamour and style icons of the year awards.

The award show was held on Saturday night in Mumbai and was hosted by Neha Dhupia. The winners of these awards were based on fans' votes.
