The well-rounded star cast!

Here are some reasons that make Bareilly Ki Barfi a must watch!

Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao are three different actors all from different genres. Putting them together under one umbrella and making a movie is nothing short of excellence and the casting director has done a fabulous job. While Kriti has always played a girl next door, Ayushmann has essayed the chocolaty lover boy and Rajkummar being the outsider in pretty much every film. It’ll be refreshing to see all of them doing something completely different. Fresh pairing is always welcomed with open arms by the audiences.

The characters of the film!

Here are some reasons that make Bareilly Ki Barfi a must watch!

Kriti Sanon essaying the role of the bratty Bitti will be so exciting to look at, that we cannot contain our excitement. We love how she is bindaas, full of life and everything more. Ayushmann playing Chirag Dubey gives us the new bully in b-town and we cannot even imagine him portraying that considering his earlier roles. Rajkummar Rao will be seen as Pritam Vidrohi, who is a shy saree shop owner and also a writer, who Bitti falls in love with. How the characters unveil and the story forms will be the best bit of the movie.

The rocking soundtrack!

Here are some reasons that make Bareilly Ki Barfi a must watch!

The album has a distinct flavour that you can identify with instantly, and that's one of the reasons the songs have become such a rage. The first, 'Sweety Tera Drama', is a peppy number with an out-and-out desi vibe. It features the lead trio doing latkas, jhatkas and thumkas — mandatory moves at most Indian weddings. The second number, 'Nazm Nazm' will have you hit replay as the melody lingers on your mind. A fun, party number, 'Twist Kamariya' has an unmistakable youthful vibe that makes you want to break into a jig.

The hilarious script and dialogues!

'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is inspired by a French novel titled 'Ingredients of Love'. Writer Nitesh Tiwari has adapted the book into the script and has changed the setting of the story from France to Uttar Pradesh. Now as we come into UP, the characters too got into the heart and skin of the city, and the entire humour is based on that very dialect and the jokes and comic timing are downright amazing. Last but not the least, check this trailer out and you are sure to catch this one in theatres near you on August 18th!
