The Father-daughter duo of Anil and Sonam to do a movie together

We all remember the hit movie, 1942: A Love Story and even the more hit soundtrack it had. The movie announced the arrival of Javed Akhtar as a full-fledged lyricist and was, sadly, the last movie for which the legendary R.D.Burman composed music for.

Now a movie titled on one of the hit songs of movie “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” will soon begin production. What is more interesting is that it will star none other than Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor.  The movie will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under his banner and directed by Shelly Chopra.

Although the details are not out, the title seems to point towards a love story. Anil Kapoor was also tight-lipped when asked about the story and if he will play Sonam’s father in the movie. The movie is expected to go on floor next year. Both the father-daughter duo is busy with different projects at the moment. While Anil is busy with Fanney Khan along with Rajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai, Sonam has Veere Di Wedding come up.
