Parineeti Chopra set to be replaced by Katrina in Akshay’s next movie

Dharma Production recently made the announcement of their upcoming project “Kesari.” The movie will star Akshay Kumar and will be based on the famous battle of Saragarhi. The release date is set around Holi 2019. There were also reports that Parineeti Chopra will star opposite to Akshay in the movie.

But those close to the makers reveal that this may not be the case. Parineeti Chopra might be replaced by none other than Katrina Kaif, who we know has a hit pairing with Akshay Kumar. The rise to this speculation is given by the fact that Parineeti’s calendar is blocked and the dates of “Kesari” clash with those of Vipul Shah’s “Namaste Canada.” Another reason being, that Katrina has always been approached by Akshay for most his movie, from “Singh is Bliing” to “Toilet Ek Prem Katha” but the actress has always refused them due to reasons best-known to her. But it seems this time she’s considering the movie as it is offered to her good friend Karan Johar.

But before you reach any conclusion, let us tell you that Katrina hasn’t yet said yes to the project as she herself might have her dates blocked, as she has been approached for Shree Narayan Singh’s Roshini opposite Shahid Kapoor, leaving Kat in a dilemma as both movies begin production at the same time.

We really do hope that Katrina is able to find dates for “Kesari” as we desperately want to see her opposite Akshay.

Also, the controversies surrounding the movies this year, did them more harm than good. But, there are still a few movies from 2017, that we would watch again someday.

These stars started their journey with dancing behind superstars and are now working with them.

  • You fall in love and vow to spend the rest of your life with each other. Such is the beauty of a marriage. The end, however, is not always as beautiful. Blame it on fame, gorgeous looks or the fact that cupid's arrows strike again and again in the glamour world, but Bollywood couples have to face the ugly truth of infidelity, divorces, and break-ups ever so often.
  • In Bollywood, there was a time, when supporting actors did not receive the appreciation they do now. They were looked at as mere pawns to make the lead look good. But times have changed, and talented artists have taken these so called side roles, and evolved them into the backbone of the films. They are now taking the limelight, and sometimes even overshadow the leads.
